Lisa deeply believes that all students deserve to be part of a learning environment that supports their problem-solving and reasoning skills as well as builds their confidence and exposes them to new possibilities. In 2010, Lisa began her career with Achievement First and held many roles. During her time there, she led the school to achieve the highest reading results in the history of the school and they were awarded the National Blue Ribbon. Most recently, Lisa was an Instructional Leadership Coach with Achievement First's Accelerate program where she supported a national portfolio of charter networks and traditional public schools. In this role, she coached and developed a diverse group of school leaders in instructional practices and leadership skills. Lisa holds a Bachelor's in Literature from Purchase College and a Master's in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education.
