Close Reading
for Meaning™

Our Close Reading for Meaning™ Institutes are for teachers and leaders who work with students in Grades 2-8. These Institutes will strengthen participants’ ability to guide students in understanding the deeper meaning of texts. To teach Close Reading for Meaning™ in their classrooms, teachers can use Lavinia Group’s Close Reading for Meaning™ curriculum or short texts of their choice.

Reading

Our Science of Reading Institute series is designed for teachers and leaders in Grades K-3 who are eager to learn proven instructional methods that ensure every child is confidently reading by January of second grade. These Institutes teach proven methods for systematic phonics routines, phonics small groups, and targeted student coaching.

Our Guided Reading for Meaning™ Institutes, grounded in the latest science of reading research, are designed for teachers and leaders in Grades K-8. Learn how to plan guided reading lessons that teach transferable phonics and comprehension skills that support students to read increasingly challenging books independently while instilling a love for reading.

Achievement 101: ELA
