Effective Instructional Management in a Remote Learning Environment
During this training intensive, participants will learn concrete methods for moving instruction to a virtual platform without sacrificing quality and engagement. We know that virtual teaching and learning is new for many of you, and we have some incredibly powerful practices to share around how to develop teacher practice and improve student outcomes during this time!
Participants will come away with:
- Concrete methods for moving instruction to a virtual platform in a way that keeps authentic teaching at the forefront, for both small-group and whole-class instruction
- Best practices around developing teacher practice in a remote setting, specifically how to support teachers through virtual coaching, student work analysis, and intellectual preparation
- Systems for monitoring student progress on a daily basis
- Methods for serving all students in a remote learning setting, including those with special education needs
WHO SHOULD COME: This training is designed for school leaders, instructional coaches, and network leaders and teachers of Grades K-8 who are eager to learn best practices around instructional leadership in a remote learning environment.

Note: In order to be mindful of your schedules during remote learning, this workshop will take place over the course of two afternoons: both Wednesday, April 8th and Thursday, April 9th, from 1:00 p.m. EST – 4:00 p.m. EST.
