Pre-program Training and onboarding
Develop an aligned vision for summer school instruction and provide teachers with ample opportunity to plan and practice the first few lessons of their summer curriculum. Throughout the training, teachers will be encouraged to discuss, debate, and ask and answer questions about content and instructional practices. Pre-Program training and onboarding is offered with both our synchronous and asynchronous professional development options.
Professional development OPTIONS
Whether choosing our asynchronous or synchronous professional development option, participants will have the opportunity to engage in intellectual preparation and student work-study while growing instructional strategies through practice. You'll also learn differentiation techniques to meet a variety of student needs in the classroom.
Select a session start date and gain access to Lavinia Group's online learning modules. Twice weekly participants will collaborate in live workshops where you'll have direct access to Lavinia Group Educational Experts who developed the curriculum and instructional strategies for this program.
Our 100% online only RISE program is a self-paced pathway that offers flexible start dates. This self-directed, professional development option focuses on structure, practices, and introduces you to the curriculum materials you will use in the classroom.
