Prior to joining Lavinia Group, Agie was a founding teacher at one of New York City’s top-performing charter schools, teaching students in grades K-3. Agie was awarded an Excellence Award for her accomplishments as an elementary educator and served as a labsite teacher, mentoring and managing teachers across the network for multiple years. Agie simultaneously served as a grade team lead. Agie holds a Masters in General Elementary and Special Education from Touro College and a B.S. in Elementary Education, Spanish, and Natural Sciences Studies from Vanderbilt University.
