Alexa is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she studied Elementary Education. After graduation, Alexa taught 7th grade math, 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade in Brooklyn, NY. Alexa then moved to Denver, Colorado, and became a math and science curriculum director for STRIVE Prep. Alexa then founded STRIVE Prep’s first and only elementary school and served as the principal for five years. Alexa went on to be a Managing Director of Schools at STRIVE Prep where she supported elementary and middle school principals along with principal fellows across the entire network. Alexa is excited to bring her passion for excellent education, specifically at the elementary level and in math, to Lavinia Group.
