Beth Davis-Dillard
Senior Director of Curriculum
In her nearly two decades as an educator, Beth has served as a teacher, a school principal, and a network leader in both charter and district schools in New York City and Los Angeles. Beth believes deeply that all children have the right to a high-quality, equitable education that nurtures their love for learning, develops deep knowledge of themselves, their community and the world, and ultimately allows all children to pursue their passions and dreams for the future. In New York, the school Beth led as principal ranked in the top 1% of schools in ELA and the top 7% of schools in math in the state. The schools she managed in Los Angeles significantly outpaced district and state averages in the growth of students meeting or exceeding grade level expectations, while also outpacing the district and the state in the reduction of students scoring significantly below grade level standards. Beth is an alum of the New York City Teaching Fellows and New Leaders for New Schools. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, and holds masters degrees from the City College of New York and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
