Biiftu is elated to bring her almost 20 years of experience as an Education Specialist to the Lavinia Group. Biiftu has worked with the Institute of International Education on the Foreign Fulbright program, in the Peace Corps as a rural development specialist, and at Success Academy as a teacher and school leader. She has partnered with nonprofits, government agencies, teachers, parents, students, community leaders, and advocates to engender transformative results to close the education gap. Biiftu applies her people-forward, people-first approach to garner sustained meaningful results. Biiftu has a Bachelor's Degree from Mount Holyoke College.
