Elena is excited to bring her experience as a classroom teacher and school leader to Lavinia Group. Most recently, Elena was the principal of Brooklyn Ascend Lower School, where she managed instruction and teacher and leader development for a 25-section K-4 school. Prior to becoming a principal, Elena served as an instructional leader for kindergarten, third, and fourth grade. Before moving into leadership, Elena taught at the elementary school level in both general and special education classrooms. Elena holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a concentration in psychology from Susquehanna University and a master’s in special and general education from Touro College.
