Keri Gausney-Jones

Keri has dedicated her career to addressing disparities in elementary education through building systems to increase access to resources and support for all students. Keri began her career as an elementary school teacher at one of the largest public charter networks in New York City. There, her zeal for building community within her classroom and sparking curiosities within her students took off. She then went on to serve as the Special Education Coordinator before becoming the Director of Student Support services of a K-4 elementary school. During her time leading special education, the school had over 70% of their students with IEPs grow three or more reading levels in one year. Keri earned her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Dietetics from Syracuse University and a Masters degree in Childhood and Special Education from Relay Graduate School of Education
