This course introduces participants to Lavinia Group's Math for Meaning™ Story Problems—a method that has helped students build confidence and achieve measurable growth in math at schools across the country. Educators will explore how real-world context can serve as a pathway to deeper mathematical understanding and learn practical techniques for bringing Story Problems instruction to life.

The course also emphasizes using student work as a foundation for coaching conversations and meaningful class discussions that promote lasting, transferable skills. Participants will leave equipped with actionable tools and resources to integrate Story Problems seamlessly into their classrooms.
