This comprehensive workshop introduces participants to RedThread Foundations Units 1 and 2, focusing on the program’s structure and goals. Educators will:

• Learn foundational strategies for phonics and knowledge-building instruction.
• Observe model lessons that demonstrate key teaching techniques.
• Collaborate to plan lessons tailored to their students’ needs.
• Practice instructional approaches in a supportive environment.

This session prepares educators to confidently launch RedThread Foundations in their classrooms.

Unit Launches (Units 3-6)

Each one-hour session focuses on unpacking an upcoming unit, providing practical support for successful implementation. Participants will:

• Review the unit’s key objectives and content.
• Watch a model lesson that illustrates effective instruction.
• Collaborate on planning lessons and small group activities.
• Practice techniques and discuss strategies to support student learning.
