Purnima began her career in education as a 2nd grade teacher in NYC public schools. She joins Lavinia Group after 13 years of literacy development consulting with The Reading and Writing Project at Teachers College. Purnima has successfully run week-long reading and writing institutes and worked with teachers and students in grades K-6 across the country. She holds a Masters of Education degree from Teachers College, Columbia University.
