Rachel Epley
Instructional Consultant
Rachel began her teaching career at South Bronx Classical Charter School, a high-performing charter school in the Bronx, where she served as a grade team leader and lead teacher. While in the classroom, she developed a passion for conceptual math instruction and bringing close reading to students. In her role as team leader, she developed teachers in their capacity to develop and deliver excellent instruction, tailored to the needs of their students. Subsequently, she moved into a network role where she worked with the Executive Director to set and execute strategic priorities. She then had the privilege of being the Interim School Director, where she managed a K-8 school serving 500 students. Rachel has her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Design and Architecture Studies from New York University and a Master’s degree in Teaching (Childhood Education 1-6) from Relay Graduate School of Education.
