RedThread Foundations

RedThread Foundations is an evidence-based structured literacy program. It is grounded in the science of reading and emphasizes systematic, explicit instruction in foundational reading skills, including phonological awareness, decoding, and sight-word recognition. 

For third through fifth grade, it continues systematic, explicit instruction while adding more complex word study, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension strategies to help students deepen their literacy skills as they advance.
