She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Chemistry from Northwestern State University, where she also completed her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Building upon her qualifications, Shanice recently obtained a Doctorate in Education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, further enriching her expertise.

Throughout her career, Shanice has showcased her diverse skill set and leadership abilities in positions such as Chemistry teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Executive Director of a charter system.
